Ingosstrakh OJSIC is a socially responsible company, and it could not stay away from the tragic events related to fires in summer 2010.
In 2011, the company's management decided to implement the "New Village" project, which focused not only on smoothing of the impact of the disaster that happened in 2010, but also on development and improvement of the rural life as a whole. In April 2011, Ingosstrakh OJSIC has purchased two new ambulances with all necessary medical equipment, and donated them to the Vyksun central district hospital. Ingosstrakh OJSIC has already donated more than 3 million rubles in order to purchase furniture, appliances and other equipment for the House of Arts and the Library of Verkhnyaya Vereya rural settlement in the Vyksun district.
Since 2004 Ingosstrakh IJSC has been cooperating with the Pomoshch (Assistance) Russian Fund of the Kommersant publishing house. Every year our Company transfers over 5 million rubles to help children with severe diseases.
For 11 years Ingosstrakh IJSC is providing charitable financial assistance to children with locomotion disorders of hospital-school # 25. More than 2000 children have been treated over this time.
Every year the company makes monetary transfers to the Science Research Institute of child oncology and hematology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. Contributions made by Ingosstrakh for over ten years helped to rescue lives of children suffering from oncologic diseases.
Since 1998 Ingosstrakh IJSC cooperates with the Free School charitable foundation. Funds are used to buy medicines and textbooks for children from poor and low income families. Besides that the Foundation patronizes a Moscow hospice buying necessary medicines.
In 2005-2008 Ingosstrakh supported organization of Youth Delphian Games in Russia, the mission of which is to find and support talented artistic young people, to preserve and develop cultural potential of Russian regions.
In 2007-2008 Ingosstrakh IJSC took part in the Under the Flag of the Good All-Russia Charitable Action organized annually to provide targeted medical assistance to children with severe diseases. The funds are used to pay for operations of ailing children.
Since 1998 assistance is extended to disabled children with CNS disorders at kindergarten # 47.
Since 1998 Ingosstrakh finances subscription of people with disabilities to the Nadezhda (Hope) newspaper – the only all-Russia charitable newspaper for people with locomotion disabilities.
For 10 years from 1998 to 2008 the Company supported the UNESCO project of “Books for little blind children”. Through all those years the company funded publishing of illustrated raised pattern books for children with vision impairments.
In 2006-2008 on the eve of the Child’s Day, June 1, Ingosstrakh transferred money to organize concerts of the Svetlanov State Academic Symphonic Orchestra of Russia, which took place at the Russian Child Clinical Hospital and the Morozov Child Hospital.
Since 1999 assistance is provided to the Moscow House of Veterans of War and Military Service. Targeted allowance to veterans is paid on the eve of the Victory Day and the Day of Seniors.
Since 1999 Ingosstrakh helps the Fifth Central Clinical hospital Of the Air Forces. Funds are used to buy urological drugs.
Besides that Ingosstrakh traditionally provides assistance to the Hermitage and the State Tretyakov Gallery.
Ingosstrakh helps universities and colleges that teach Insurance business; since 1997 Ingosstrakh organizes contests for best works on insurance and grants are distributed among students. In 2008 the contest was renamed in commemoration of the late President of Ingosstrakh Vyacheslav Scherbakov, who was head of the contest’s expert council
In 2006 Ingosstrakh extended help to the Public Charity Foundation “Children Hearts”. The funds were used to organize surgical operations for children with cardiac defects.
In 2005 Ingosstrakh provided assistance to children with hearing impairments in Voronezh by participating in the Deaf children program of the Russian Child Fund. The Insurance company purchased hearing aid devices for ten kids. Ingosstrakh and the Russian Child Fund have been in cooperation for 3 years already.
In 2005 when celebrating the 60-th anniversary of Victory in World War II Ingosstrakh IJSC put forward an initiative to organize festive events for veterans in Moscow and other cities of Russia and provided financial assistance to veterans of war and labor.
In 2005 Ingosstrakh offered financial help to the Regional Public Organization of Artists with Disabilities “Humanitarian Center Museum of Outsiders Art”. The Museum is a unique project designed to present to the audience an alternative view on contemporary art free form the influence of traditional art. The money was used to support artists with mental disorders and to organize permanent exposition, exhibitions and trips around Russia to collect new pieces of art of this type. Today the museum holds over 4000 works of more than 200 authors.
In 2002 the Company provided assistance to high schools of the Krasnodar region. Ingosstrakh transferred computers and office machines to schools of Ust-Labinsky district free of charge.
The Company supported the Russian Public Organization of Invalids of Law Enforcement Services and personnel of the Special Fast Response Team of Main Department of the Interior Ministry of Russia for the Central Administrative District.
In 2004-2005 help was extended to reconstruct XVIII-th century church of Saint Alexius, Metropolitan of Moscow. By a request of Metropolitan Sergius, Head of Charity Activities and of Administrative Department of the Moscow Patriarchy, the main drum and the bell-tower of the church were reconstructed.
