Liability insurance of public event organizers (cultural or sport events ,etc.)
Almost each type of activity is in some way associated with the risk of causing damage to third parties. This risk increases many times when organizing and conducting public events (concerts, sports competitions etc.) The civil liability insurance program offered by Ingosstrakh allows to insure organizers against such a risk and thus protect them against the potential losses.
Object of insurance:
Insured person’s property interests associated with the compensation of the damage caused by them to life, health and property of third parties during the organization and conduction of events.
Insurance event:
Insured person’s liability prescribed by the RF Civil Code to compensate for the direct damage caused to the personal or property interests of third parties during the events, the list and location of which is stipulated in the insurance policy.
Insurable risks:
Effect of flame caused by fire as a result of incorrect use of electric lighting, electric or gas heating systems, as well as fire extinction effect;
Gas explosion;
Water impact as a result of water supply, heating or sewage systems failure;
Chemical and bioactive substances impact;
Mechanical damage to equipment and vehicles used during the events;
Fireworks, illumination and other special effects used for advertising and decorations;
Bites and other injuries caused by animals (dogs, horses, horned cattle and the like), apart from animals involved in hunting activities being part of the event’s agenda;
Failed operation of ventilation systems, including air-conditioners causing choke (apart from damage caused to persons suffering from asthma and similar diseases);
Use of products causing food poisoning;
Latent defects (except for construction defects) of sports facilities and equipment causing injuries;
Actions of persons participating in the events other than Insured person’s employees.
