In the event of vehicle loss as a result of stealage or theft you SHOULD NOT:
Panic, remember that your property is insured.
Distort the circumstances of the accident if possible (change the position of transport means, remove any other proof of malicious acts).
Type of insurance: Motor insurance
1. Immediately dial 02 to call the police and submit a written application to the local police office station of the car theft place.
2. To receive insurance compensation you should submit the following documents to Ingosstrakh:
A written application of the Insured person regarding the stealage or theft of the vehicle. The application shall be submitted to Ingosstrakh within 7 calendar days as of the day of the accident;
Insurance policy;
Vehicle registration documents (certificate of registration, log book, vehicle card, vehicle certificate), and a complete set of original keys to the indicated vehicle;
A certificate issued by the Internal Affairs authorities in compliance with Addendum 3 on the criminal case investigation results – within 10 days as of its issuance;
A letter on the payment of the insurance compensation with bank details for legal corporate clients signed by the director and sealed with a corporate stamp;
A letter stating the Insured person’s liability associated with insurance compensation paid to the Insured person by the Insurer to return the indicated sum or the vehicle with all the documentation to the Insurer for its realization via a commission store and subsequent transfer of the obtained amount to the Insurer’s account if the vehicle is found.
