Natural disaster

Dear client of Ingosstrakh!

In the event of a natural disaster please make sure NOT TO:

Change the picture of the occurrence, i.e. the damaged property, elements of construction or interior decor shall remain as is.

You have the right to repair or otherwise adjust the damaged property upon the Insurer’s agreement if such repair or other adjustment is recommendable for safety considerations or takes place upon expiration of a two-week period after notification of the Insurer of the occurrence provided that the site of the occurrence is photographed or videotaped.


You should:

1. Take steps to prevent or reduce potential losses and save the insured property.

2. Notify and summon a representative of Ingosstrakh to inspect the damaged property and estimate the size of damages.

3. Obtain a confirmation from the Federal Hydro-meteorological Service of the fact of the natural disaster for its registration as the occurrence of the insured event.
