In the event of damage by water please make sure NOT TO:
Change the picture of the occurrence, i.e. the damaged property, elements of construction or interior decor shall remain as is.
You have the right to repair or otherwise adjust the damaged property upon the Insurer’s agreement if such repair or other adjustment is recommendable for safety considerations or takes place upon expiration of a two-week period after notification of the Insurer of the occurrence provided that the site of the occurrence is photographed or videotaped.
You should:
1. Take steps to prevent or reduce potential losses and save the insured property.
2. Immediately notify and summon representatives of dedicated maintenance organizations (Local Housing Maintenance Office, Housing Department etc), special emergency operations service and other authorized services to eliminate the direct effect of and register the occurrence of the insured event.
3. Obtain a confirmation of the occurrence of the insured event from the foregoing authorities.
4. Summon a representative of Ingosstrakh for inspection of the damaged property and estimation of the scope of damages.
