The insurance policy covers the following expenses:
Medical expenses: medical assistance in the event of an acute disease or injury, cost of prescribed medication.
Medical transportation expenses: transportation of the Insured person from the occurrence location to the nearest medical facility or to a doctor; emergency medical repatriation of the Insured person, including accompaniment (if prescribed by doctors) from abroad to the place of residence.
Transportation expenses: expenses on the Insured person’s travel back home or that of his/her children is the former are left unattended as the result of the insured event; two-way travel of the insured person’s relative to visit the Insured person in the event of long stay in hospital;
Post mortem repatriation: delivery of the body of the diseased person to the place of residence if the death of the latter results from the insured event.

How your medical expenses are covered:
Your medical expenses are covered by Ingosstrakh either to the medical facility directly or are compensated to the Insured person if paid out of pocket.
If you pay for the medical care you receive on our own, please make sure that you reconcile all and any costs with Ingosstrakh’s service center prior to referring to medical assistance.
To receive a guaranteed compensation of your costs, please make sure that you submit the documents to confirm and justify the costs incurred to Ingosstrakh within 30 days after the end of your travel.

The price of your policy depends on the insured amount and the length of your travel.
The amount insured is determined by the client and is denominated in US dollars or Euro (at the client’s discretion) with a view to the country of destination.
The amount insured for European countries, inclusive of Schengen countries and Lithuania, is denominated in Euro.
The price of the policy (the insurance premium) is indicated per each insured person per day of travel in US dollars or Euro depending on the insurance currency you select.
